We have reduced the use of plastic
By choosing eco-sustainable production processes and packaging made from other materials, the use of plastic has been drastically reduced.
- Our juzu and all other plastic accessories will no longer be restocked
- Our wooden juzu have been equipped with new packaging made entirely of paper
The value of Made in Italy
The production of our butsudan, juzu, and other accessories is entirely Made in Italy: we want to enhance Italian production as much as possible to avoid imports from other countries, thus limiting the use of merchant ships and other polluting means of transport.
We rely on careful suppliers
The companies and people we collaborate with are sensitive to environmental issues.
Our butsudan, for example, are built with FSC-certified wood, selected and eco-sustainable.
This means that for every tree cut down, another is replanted.
The painting cycle is also subjected to strict controls, and non-toxic certified paints are used, which do not release any dangerous vapors.
Apple Skin® and Ecolibò
The Apple Skin and Ecolibò accessory lines are emblems of our commitment to promoting recycling and environmental protection.
AppleSkin® is an eco-sustainable material produced from apple peels and cores. The result is an ecological, vegan, and cruelty-free leather.
The Ecolibò cushion is a cushion produced in Italy, composed of 60% polyester from recycled plastic bottles and 40% cotton.
Ecolibò uses a cotton fabric reinforced with high-efficiency polyester textile fibers obtained from PET bottles recovered from the oceans.
