The second volume devoted to the commentary on the Lotus Sutra addresses the themes found in chapters 12 through 16. These include the prediction of enlightenment for evil beings for women, which was never considered possible in previous sutras. Also examined in great detail is the chapter Duration of the Tathagata's life, which reveals the concept of eternity of life and is the heart of the entire sutra. An opportunity to approach topics of great philosophical significance accompanied by Daisaku Ikeda's profound insight and extremely timely interpretations.
