Each passage is accompanied by a commentary by Daisaku Ikeda – president of the Soka Gakkai International and leader of the Buddhist movement based on Nichiren Daishonin's teachings – related to the topic discussed, thus offering readers clear guidance on how to apply the Daishonin's words in their own lives, as well as further insights by the young women of the Soka Gakkai International Study Department.
